'You'll Never Line Up In Front of Me!' Cowboys' Trevon Diggs Blasts Cheap-Shot 49ers

In this story:
The Dallas Cowboys are certainly no strangers to being on the receiving end of trash talk. After all, when you have players like Micah Parsons or Trevon Diggs who are vocally confident about how good they are? It kind of comes with the territory.
Which is why it was no surprise to some when Diggs himself was involved in some social media beef with San Francisco 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings on Instagram on July 28.
This trash talk between the two occured on the NFL's account, which continued to post the top 100 players of 2023 list. Diggs came in at No. 60 overall, and Jennings had a simple jab for the Cowboys cornerback.
"Can't wait to see him again," Jennings quipped in the comments. Refusing to let that disrespect slide, Diggs replied with a short yet effective come back - "You will never line up in front of me in your life."

Jennings wrote "Can’t wait to see him again 😂" while talking about Diggs.
Diggs shut down it quickly: "You will never line up in front of me in your life."

Folks, we'll chalk this round up to the Cowboys' superstar cornerback.
Jennings and Diggs have only faced each other twice, with both games coming in the playoffs. While Jennings had little impact on the games themselves, recording a combined five catches for 55 yards, he got the last laugh with the 49ers winning both games.
However, the beef between the two players goes deeper than just Jennings' stats against Diggs. Rather, in their playoff game last season, Jennings crushed Diggs on a block - one that was not penalized but eventually given a $3,667 fine for unnecessary roughness.
Niners WR Jauan Jennings was fined $3,667 for unnecessary roughness for his block last Sunday on Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs, source said. No flag thrown. Diggs not pleased. On next play, Diggs didn’t draw penalty or taunting fine on an incompletion for Jennings. Niners then punted. pic.twitter.com/dX0dxDoV3i

Fortunately for fans of the two teams they won't have to wait until the playoffs for round three between the two players as the Cowboys and 49ers are set for a Week 5 showdown. And we will likely see a lot of Diggs. And when we watch him, we are unlikely to see a lot of Jennings.
