Cowboys Vs. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts? Emmitt Smith Says, ‘Shut Your Mouth!’

In this story:
FRISCO -The Philadelphia Eagles have done almost every single thing right on the way to the Super Bowl, including developing a quarterback in Jalen Hurts who finished as the runner-up in MVP voting and might be the favorite to win that award in the Big Game.
Emmitt Smith recognizes that - and is (maybe) playfully instructing Dallas Cowboys fans to shut up about Hurts - and about any criticism they have of his “love” for Hurts.
“I love him. He’s a proven champion,” Smith said. They have a great chance of winning (against the Chiefs) and he is the reason why they will win.”
Smith, the NFL all-time leading rusher, was asked what Cowboys fans might think of his supportive words of the hated Eagles.
“Can’t say nothing,” Emmitt said. “Can’t say nothing. Keep your mouth closed.”
“I love him. He is a proven champion. They have a great chance of winning this week and he is the reason why they will win,” @EmmittSmith22 on Jalen Hurts. And if the Eagles win a second? “Cant say nothing. Keep your mouth closed”. @NBCPhiladelphia special Friday at 7:30. pic.twitter.com/WCU9PiPq5E

Smith thinks the Eagles have a “great chance” to beat Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. … with Hurts as the centerpiece.
We don’t really hear Cowboys fans ripping the Eagles QB, though. That role is largely being filled by shock-jock national media members like
former NFL quarterback Chris Simms, who keeps saying things like, “Playing quarterback for the Eagles right now is set up to be one of the easier quarterback jobs in the sport.”
On Sunday, Hurts has a chance to prove Emmitt right … and to shut a lot of mouths.
