Sweet 17: Cowboys 3 Targets on NFL Draft 1st-Round Invite List

In this story:
FRISCO - The NFL has invited a Sweet Seventeen group of college prospects to be front-and-center with a presence at the NFL Draft, set to begin on April 27 in Kansas City.
Will any of them become a member of the Dallas Cowboys that night?
In 2020, COVID forced the proceedings to be held virtually. But otherwise, this is an NFL tradition: The kid, wearing his natty new suit, surrounded at a table by family and friends (and agent) ... all ready to celebrate when they hear their name.
Or try to hide their dismay as they fidget in their chairs as they wait and wait and wait ...
So, who is on the list who are expected to attend this year’s draft in Kansas City? And who merits eyeballing from Cowboys Nation?
Invited to 2023 NFL Draft
WR Jordan Addison, USC
EDGE Will Anderson, Alabama
DB Brian Branch, Alabama
DT Jalen Carter, Georgia
WR Zay Flowers, Boston College
CB Christian Gonzalez, Oregon
OL Paris Johnson, Ohio State
QB Will Levis, Kentucky
CB Joey Porter, Penn State
QB Anthony Richardson, Florida
RB Bijan Robinson, Texas
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State
QB C.J. Stroud, Ohio State
EDGE Keion White, Georgia Tech
EDGE Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech
CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois
QB Bryce Young, Alabama
Of that group, the Cowboys - picking at No. 26 overall - have a particular affection for two wideouts, Smith-Njigba (who is from the Dallas area) and Flowers (see our 1-on-1 interview with Flowers here) . ... and a particular affection for the Longhorns star Bijan.
Let the on-camera excitement ... and disappointment ... begin.
