Ryan Fitzpatrick talks MNF and avoiding sacks
In his weekly press conference, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick talks about Monday Night Football and what his thoughts are on leading a team that has never played during that day. He is facing the Pittsburgh Steelers for the seventh time in his career. In those seven match-ups, the last six have each come with a different team. This is also the third time he's faced the Steelers on Monday night. He also talked about what he can do to avoid being sacked and shared a funny tidbit about linemen Evan Boehm and Chris Reed, who Fitzpatrick thinks look identical to each other. Reed (previously from Jacksonville) and Boehm (previously from Indianapolis and Arizona) are in their first seasons with the Dolphins. The offensive line has looked improved with Fitzpatrick back behind center. This is also the first time the Dolphins see Minkah Fitzpatrick as an opponent. Miami selected him in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft but traded him the Pittsburgh for a 2020 first round pick after Week 2 of this season.
