Eagles WR A.J. Brown Seen Looking Defeated at Boxing Match Before Playoffs

Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown looked a bit down at a boxing match prior to Monday's playoffs game in Tampa Bay, which he will be inactive for.

A.J. Brown has been ruled out of the Philadelphia Eagles Wildcard game tonight versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a knee injury, but that doesn’t mean he’s been sitting at home.

This weekend, hours after Brown was announced as being out for the Eagles' first playoff game, he was spotted ringside in attendance of an Atlantic City boxing match being held in Adrian Phillips Theatre.

The photo depicts Brown staring off into the distance, looking detached from the moment while others at the event smile. Could it be that Brown was upset while thinking about Philly's late-season letdown or was perhaps feeling defeated after being unable to recover in time for the start of the playoffs?

Take a look:

Regardless of the reason behind his expression, it's clear that Brown has something on his mind.

Brown reportedly told Philadelphia’s media department that he would deactivate his X account. His Instagram profile picture has a black sheep standing out in the middle of a group of white sheep.

Perhaps the injury has Brown feeling isolated, or maybe he just enjoys standing out, but either way, his actions as of late have caused some concern among Eagles fans regarding his long-term future with the franchise.

Tonight, Philly will attempt to beat the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium for the second time this season after coming away with a 25-11 victory at Tampa Bay in Week 3.

If the Eagles win, it will undoubtedly be a cause for celebration during Wild Card weekend due to how poorly the team has played as of late.
