Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce said that he wasn't going to get into specifics on the frustration he showed on the sideline towards head coach Nick Sirianni and offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland during the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Rams.

But in doing so, gave an enlightening answer anyway.

"I'm not going to get into it," Kelce said postgame. "I think that I love everybody in this building like a family, I've been here a very long time. And I think, I just got a little bit too heated. The red zone has been frustrating I think for everybody. We've left a lot of points on the board. And I let myself get too frustrated, too animated. And it wasn't productive.

"So for me -- I cannot overstate this -- I think I always get the most heated and the most emphatic with the people that I love and respect. I don't know why that's the case, it's always been the case."

Through the first month of the season, the Eagles were 24th among teams in terms of scoring touchdowns when they reached the red zone. In Week 5, they scored two touchdowns in three trips inside the 20-yard line of the Rams in the first half. However, the Eagles had four trips into the red zone in the second half of the game, and failed to scored a touchdown on any of them.

To be able to compete with the likes of the San Francisco 49ers at the top of the NFC, offensive coordinator Brian Johnson and the Eagles will need to improve drastically on their ability to finish lengthy drives with six points.

Whether the red zone struggles were the entirety of Kelce's frustration or there's more that needs to be handled behind closed doors, the five-time All-Pro has earned the right to have his voice heard.
