The Atlanta Falcons are bolstering their offensive line.
According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, the Falcons are signing undrafted free agent tackle Trevor Reid, who played his college ball at Louisville.
Per Fan Nation's Louisville Report ... The 6-foot-5, 307-pound offensive tackle has been a regular fixture of Louisville's offensive line for the past two seasons. In 2022, he made 12 appearances with 11 starts, helping the Cardinals average 200.6 rushing yards per game for the 23rd-ranked rushing offense in the FBS. Playing 628 total snaps almost exclusively at left tackle, he allowed only three sacks, two quarterback hits and eight quarterbacks hurries in 314 pass block snaps, and posted a Pro Football Focus grade of 60.9.
Reid, who went to high school in Georgia, is coming closer to home after signing an undrafted free agent deal with the Philadelphia Eagles shortly after the draft.
Reid also has a connection to offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford, who coached the newest Falcon while he was a freshman at Louisville in 2020. Now, the pair are reuniting in Atlanta as Reid hopes to add to the depth of the Falcons offensive line.
Reid will likely be on the sidelines when the Falcons face the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
