Let’s take a look at the Super Bowl 57 matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Super Bowl XLVII: How to Watch, Odds, History, and More

The Super Bowl is set. The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are the last two teams standing for the 2022-23 NFL season. It’s been a long journey, with both teams going 14-3 during the regular season. Both teams also had first-round byes after clinching the first seed in their respective conferences.

The Chiefs have been to the AFC Championship game in the last five seasons and are headed back to the Super Bowl for the third time in the Patrick Mahomes era. Mahomes led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl win in 2019.

They would also lose the Super Bowl to the Buccaneers the next season. Mahomes won MVP for the 2022-23 season and is looking to become the first MVP to also win a Super Bowl in the same season. The Chiefs have been here before and are looking forward to another great challenge.

That challenge will be the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles owned all of the offseason hype and proved that they belong at the top of the league. Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, the Eagles have been stellar on both sides of the ball. They have four defensive players with over ten sacks each.

This will be the Eagles’ second Super Bowl appearance in five seasons, the first coming in 2017. A good mix of veteran players such as Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox have been here before, but it’s up to Hurts, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and others to lead the way.

Two big storylines heading into this game include Chiefs head coach Andy Reid facing the team that fired him almost one decade prior and that Eagles center Jason Kelce and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will be the first brothers to face each other in a Super Bowl.

This one’s for everything, and it should be a great game.
