The New York Giants are reportedly signing defensive tackle Brandin Bryant, according to a report by ESPN.

Bryant was among a group of players we reported worked out last Friday at the club's East Rutherford, New Jersey facility.

Bryant entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2016, signing with the Seahawks, for whom he played in all four preseason games as a rookie. After failing to make the 53-man roster, Bryant was signed to the Jets practice squad on October 24, 2016, earning a promotion to the active roster on December 20, 2016, but not appearing in any games.

The following year, Bryant was waived/injured by the Jets. He finally made his regular-season NFL debut as a member of the Browns in 2019, appearing in four games. 

The following year, he joined the Bills, with whom he spent three seasons. Bryant appeared in seven games over that span accumulating six tackles and one quarterback hit. The Bills released him on June 1.

Bryant will provide extra depth along the defensive line, where it is possible that A'Shawn Robinson, whom the Giants signed during the free agency period, could begin the summer on the PUP list. Robinson, who was with the Rams last season, has been rehabbing from a season-ending torn meniscus suffered in a Week 11 game against the Saints.

Since joining the Giants, Robinson has been unable to partake in the Giants' on-field practices held over the spring.
