Jaguars' Tyson Campbell Ranked No. 16 CB in Madden NFL 24

The former Georgia Bulldogs product is ranked as one of the best 20 cornerbacks in the newest version of madden.

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell continues to get recognized as one of the league's up-and-coming cornerbacks.

Campbell is ranked as the No. 16 cornerback in Madden NFL 24, with established names like Jamel Dean, James Bradberry, and Kenny Moore II behind him.

Campbell looks slotted to have a breakout year in 2023, even if one could consider his strong showing throughout the 2022 season as an official breakout.

Earlier this offseason, PFF ranked Campbell as a top-25 cornerback in the league, joining teammate Darious Williams in the top-32.

"After a rookie year of struggles, Campbell had a huge second season, earning an 80.7 PFF coverage grade — more than 20 grading points better than his 2021 mark. Campbell allowed just 9.7 yards per reception and an 86.0 passer rating into his coverage," PFF wrote.

In an ESPN ranking of the top-10 cornerbacks for the 2023 season, Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell was left off the top-10 list and the honorable mentions group but was listed among those who received votes in the top-10.

Alongside Campbell who received votes without making one of the top two groups was Stephon Gilmore, James Bradberry, J.C. Jackson, Carlton Davis, Trent McDuffie, Charvarius Ward, and D.J. Reed.

The No. 33 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Georgia Bulldogs product started 14 games as a rookie, recording two interceptions and 10 pass breakups. He then upped his game in 2022, recording three interceptions and 15 pass deflections in 17 starts while also starting two playoff games.
