After winning Pepsi Rookie of the Week honors in weeks 1 and 3, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew is once again knocking on the door of earning rookie honors after leading a 26-24 comeback victory on the road over the Denver Broncos in week 4.

Against the Broncos, Minshew completed 19 of 33 passes for 213 yards, two touchdowns and 0 interceptions for a 97.2 passer rating. He converted several key third downs to rally the team after a poor offensive and defensive first half showing.

Minshew has put himself in rare company of passers in 2019 with his mistake free play and efficient redzone passing. His play has made him not only a weekly rookie of the week nominee, but a monthly one as well.

After Minshew replaced starting quarterback Nick Foles in the 1st quarter of the season's first game due to Foles suffering a fractured clavicle, many thought the Jaguars were a sinking ship. Instead, Minshew has steered them toward smooth waters.
