LeSean McCoy Taking Mecole Hardman's Side in Feud With Jets

FS1 host LeSean McCoy is backing Mecole Hardman in his running feud with the New York Jets, and dragging Aaron Rodgers into the mud with them.

So, it's the New York Jets vs. Mecole Hardman ... and LeSean McCoy?

In this running NFL Soap Opera it was Hardman who fired the first shots, saying the Jets have "no standard." The Jets volleyed back with punter Thomas Morstead calling him a "disgruntled employee" and other players alleging that he leaked their offensive game plan to his ex Georgia buddies on the Philadelphia Eagles before last season's Week 6 game.

Hardman, Super Bowl LVIII hero for the Kansas City Chiefs, is now getting backed by the likes of Stephen A. Smith and McCoy. While Smith says Hardman should "sue" the Jets for their claims of sabotage (if proven false), McCoy is somehow wrangling Jets' quarterback Aaron Rodgers into the quagmire.

Jets - LeSean McCoy

"When I heard what Mecole said, its like, what did he say wrong?" McCoy said Thursday on FS1. "You take a young kid and in his five years of playing football, he's been to four Super Bowls, playing for the best coach to ever coach this game. Let's not even say that, the best coach right now. The quarterback? Some people think Aaron Rodgers is such a great quarterback. He's a great talent and a great quarterback. Well, Patrick Mahomes ain't no chump."

LeSean, as usual, is totally missing the point. It's not that Hardman - whom the Jets gave up on traded to the Chiefs - doesn't have a couple of Super Bowl rings and "knows" success. It's that he's out line ripping his former teammates for no reason and he's allegedly very wrong for leaking plays to an opponent ... while he was on the team.

As for wedging Rodgers into the skirmish? Feels like McCoy is just trying make headlines.

"You go to New York and let Aaron Rodgers do everything like he's some type of winner," McCoy said. "Let's just keep it real here. You have a superstar great quarterback and you put everything on him. He talked about how everything is Aaron's way. Well, what does that way get you?"
