With the unofficial start of summer upon us, maybe travel is on the mind.

The New York Jets' 2023 regular season schedule features two enticing road trips for fans who want to support the team in a different city this fall.

First, a primetime kickoff that caps a fabulous weekend of football in Las Vegas. Then, a key divisional game under the South Florida sun in December.

The Jets fly out to Las Vegas for the ninth of 17 games on the regular season slate and they'll likely need a win in the desert to boost their playoff hopes when the time comes. In addition to attending what should be a meaningful contest, there are multiple reasons to make the trip for the November 12 road game.

The Raiders play in a "technologically-advanced" stadium that lies adjacent to the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip with plenty of lodging options in the vicinity.

Before experiencing the architectural brilliance of Allegiant Stadium, fans can live the resort life at one of the area's numerous magnificent hotel properties. There are plenty of ways to stay entertained until kickoff, whether it be gambling, attending a show or maybe embarking on a quick trip out to the Hoover Dam.

It won't be bathing suit weather at that time of the year, but Las Vegas daily high temperatures hover around 61 degrees in November with an average low of 42.

When it comes to gameday, the Jets should deliver for the fans who made the trek. Aaron Rodgers, who will get to see his old buddy Davante Adams, could be in for a great day in the climate-controlled venue. In its post-schedule release game-by-game predictions, Jets Country projected a 31-13 win for Gang Green over Jimmy Garoppolo and the Raiders.

If the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas isn't your thing, then how about an escape to a tropical climate right when the northeast weather takes a turn for the worse?

With so many airlines serving the New York to South Florida route, find a reasonably priced flight into Miami or Fort Lauderdale and enjoy a couple of beach days before watching Gang Green face the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on December 17.

Fort Lauderdale Beach is a great place to stay and it's much easier on the budget than South Beach. The opportunity for fun in the sun is plentiful. The average daily high temperature is 81 degrees at this point on the calendar.

One can take a stroll along the famed Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk or window shop on Las Olas Boulevard. Gulfstream Park is nearby for any horse racing fans who make the trip.

Hard Rock Stadium, which has had more names over the years than Chosen Anderson, is a fan-friendly venue for football. Also, there's ample parking around the stadium, which has hosted its share of Super Bowls.

As for the Week 15 divisional game, it has to be better than the 11-6 stinker the two teams combined for in the 2022 regular season finale. If both teams' starting quarterbacks are healthy, there could be a shootout in South Florida. The Jets Country prediction for this one is 26-24 in favor of the Fins.
