All Lions: 'Bat Signal' Out for Campbell to Speak to Red Wings

Lions have had strong presence at Red Wings games.

The Detroit Lions have made their presence felt at Little Caesars Arena throughout the NHL season.

Multiple members of the organization have sounded the goal horn prior to the start of Detroit Red Wings home games this season. Most recently, standout defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was at the game Tuesday helping hype up the crowd prior to face-off.

Other members of the organization who have participated in the tradition are wide receiver Jameson Williams and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.

Fans have been unequivocally supportive of the Lions, as well, as "Jared Goff" chants still ring throughout the arena. Meanwhile, the Red Wings have won six games in a row entering Wednesday.

As the Red Wings continue to push toward a playoff berth, coach Derek Lalonde admitted he hopes to have Lions' head coach Dan Campbell come and speak to his team.

"I got the bat signal out," Lalonde said. "I know he's in the combine right now, but obviously I would love him to come and address the boys," Lalonde said, via The Detroit Free Press. "I know how intense and how busy they are right now, they are 16-, 18-hour days, but yeah, I've got the bat signal out. Hopefully we can get him in to speak to the boys."
