Lions Week 11 Rooting Guide

Who the Lions are rooting for in Week 11.

The Detroit Lions could find themselves closer to the No. 1 seed in the NFC after the next two weeks of scheduled NFL games.

If the Eagles are defeated by the Chiefs and the Lions defeat the Bears, Detroit will enter Week 12 with the chance to be No. 1 seed in the NFC after Thanksgiving, given the team defeats the Packers.

The Eagles face the Bills at home next week, after their tough Monday Night Football contest against the defending Super Bowl champions.

Head coach Dan Campbell noted this week he could understand the sentiment that the Bears are a similar team to his 2022 squad that was able to win much more in the second half of the season.

“Yeah, I think that’s fair. They’re trying to build their program over there," said Campbell. "They’re kind of going from the ground up. They’ve drafted well, they’ve made some big free agency acquisitions, good players, they’ve got their system in, this is year two and – but their foundation is built off playing hard, sound football, play hard, finish, and it always has to start there. It doesn’t matter what you do, what the pieces are, if you don’t play a certain way, you’ll always be inconsistent. So, they’re close and we can’t let them, man, find their footing versus us. We can’t do it. But we know this is going to be a test. This is a big test for us.”
