Best Bet: Amon-Ra St. Brown's Slump Ends

In this story:
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has become a wide receiver opposing teams game plan against more consistently.
The talented wideouts ability to get open and secure yards after the catch has made him the best and most consistent player on Detroit's offense.
Recently, the former fourth round draft pick has been drawing extra attention from defenders, limiting his productivity the past two games.
“You’d love to get him going. I think he’s doing a great job," said Jared Goff this week. "He’s been very accountable of things that he feels like he can do better, and then for me as well, I’m very much just talking to him about ways that I want to try to do better for him and get him the ball in certain ways a little bit better than we have in the last couple weeks."
Against the Broncos at Ford Field, Detroit's offense has an opportunity to right the ship and get their best player the football more.
In his past two appearances, St. Brown has recorded five receptions for a total of 70 yards, far below his usual production.
Play Michigan lead writer Drew Ellis sees St. Brown's slump come to an end against the Broncos this week.
"It’s been a little bit of a struggle over the last few weeks with the picks, similar to the inconsistency of the Lions. Saturday night is a big game and the Lions look to be coming into the contest with a relatively healthy offensive line. That should bode well for Jared Goff and the pass game," Ellis tells All Lions. "Of all the disappointing performances last week, no Lion will hold themselves accountable more than Amon-Ra St. Brown. The “Sun God” won’t be pleased with the drops and I expect him to come out on fire.
"St. Brown is one of the most motivated players in the entire league and he won’t accept failure. That should lead to a big game from him. Prior to these last two games, St. Brown had six straight with at least 71 receiving yards. He also did it in nine of the first 10 games of the year. Look for St. Brown to get back to form on Saturday night in a crucial game for the Lions. That is why my best bet is St. Brown going over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-115)."
