Green Bay Packers Training Camp Highlights - Practice 7

In the video, watch the Green Bay Packers' defensive backs and linebackers go through drills at Ray Nitschke Field on Thursday
For the Packers, it was the final practice before Friday's Family Night. What happens in front of the paying customers in Lambeau Field won't be all that different from what transpires daily at Nitschke Field.
“We’ll have a couple scripted periods and then we’re going to have two move-the-ball periods as well as a 2-minute drill," coach Matt LaFleur said. "I think it’s a good opportunity for our guys, especially some of these young guys that haven’t been in that type of environment before, including myself, just a good, little dress rehearsal before we play a game a week from today.”
Thursday's practice was the shortest and least-physically taxing of training camp. Even the 2-minute drill was conducted at half-speed. For LaFleur, it all goes with his focus of keeping his players fresh and healthy.
“I think I mentioned it earlier, when you go three hard days in a row you’re more susceptible to injury," he said. "We went hard yesterday, dialed it back today, we did more above-the-neck stuff, and then tomorrow we’ll get after it pretty good.”
