It’s Week 9 of the NFL season and the Green Bay Packers haven’t had their bye. Still, with coach Matt LaFleur putting his team through its usual Thursday padded practice, every member of the 52-man roster was on the field.

“It was good,” LaFleur said. “It’s been a long time coming, it feels like, but we’re in pretty decent healthy considering it is Week 9, and hopefully we can continue that.”

Among the players practicing:

Receiver Davante Adams. On Wednesday, Adams went through his first practice since suffering a turf-toe injury on Sept. 26 against Philadelphia. Oftentimes with a player coming back from a muscle or ligament injury, one of the big tests is the day after the first day back. Apparently, there were no setbacks, which improves the odds of Adams returning to action on Sunday in Los Angeles against the Chargers. He was limited participation in his first padded work since the injury.

“We’re going to take it one day at a time,” LaFleur said. “You never quite know with that injury. It is a significant injury. Most people don’t understand how painful that injury is.”

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been dealing with a sore knee since the Week 5 game at Dallas. During the portion of Wednesday’s practice that was open to reporters, Rodgers rode a stationary bike. On Thursday, he joined linebacker Blake Martinez and safety Will Redmond in going from limited participation to full participation.

Right tackle Bryan Bulaga. He suffered an injured finger against Kansas City and missed the final two series.

“It was interesting,” Bulaga said. “When it happened, I looked down and was like, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to be OK.’ And then by the time we went in, got an X-ray on it, finally got a tape job where I thought I could go back out and do something, they’d already completed the third-and-5 pass and the game was over. So, the way that everything worked out – from putting it back in, to getting the X-ray done, to coming back out, I mean, the game was over essentially. Just the way it worked out.”

Running back Aaron Jones. A shoulder injury kept Jones out for the end of the first half vs. Kansas City but he returned to post 226 total yards and two touchdowns to earn NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

In all, 22 players are on the injury report. Of that group, 13 were full participation and nine were limited.
