Prop Bets: Panthers at Titans
Each week, I'll give a handful of prop bets or parlays pertaining to that week's Carolina Panthers game. I've already made my picks for the side and total for Carolina vs. Tennessee, which you can view below.
Here are this week's prop bets and parlays (odds via FanDuel):
Bryce Young passing yards: Under 200.5
The Panthers' rookie quarterback has remained under 200 passing yards in each of the last three games and in five of his nine starts this season. With right guard Austin Corbett out of the lineup, I expect Frank Reich to lean more on the run game and not so much on Bryce. Make it four straight weeks of sub 200 yardage through the air.
Adam Thielen receptions: Over 6.5
Thielen is averaging 7.6 receptions on 9.7 targets per game. He's been the only consistent playmaker the Panthers have in the passing game and rookie quarterbacks tend to fall in love with a reliable guy like Thielen to bail them out of certain situations or to at least make something out of nothing. This week is no different.
Derrick Henry rushing yards: Under 69.5
This may seem like I'm playing with fire here, but hear me out. Henry has totaled just 62 yards over the last two weeks and on the other side, the Panthers have allowed an average of 58.5 yards to lead backs over the last four games. Ejiro Evero knows if you stop the run in this game, it significantly increases Carolina's chances to win with a rookie quarterback being forced to make winning plays consistently.
