Golden Tate Reacts to Canales Landing Panthers Job

In this story:
Before his career blossomed in Detroit, wide receiver Golden Tate got his feet wet in the league with the Seattle Seahawks where he spent four years with new Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales.
From 2010-17, Canales served as the receivers coach in Seattle, entering the NFL at the same time as Tate. During those four years, Tate reeled in 165 receptions for 2,195 yards and 15 touchdowns which helped land him a five-year deal with Detroit.
Thursday night, Tate joined Tom Pelissero, Mike Garafolo, and Ian Rapoport to discuss Canales landing the Panthers head coaching job.
"Always been a hard worker, always had a lot of knowledge, always had a lot of enthusiasm and I think he's going to fit in great with the young team over there. And besides that, what he did in Tampa this year when I know I didn't give him much of a chance...is really impressive. So I'm excited for him."
