Panthers Hire a New Linebackers Coach

Carolina adds to the coaching staff.

In this story:

New Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero has made the first hire to his defensive staff, bringing on Peter Hansen as linebackers coach.

Hansen served on Evero's staff in Denver this past season in the same role and the two also spent time together in San Francisco from 2012-13.

Hansen's resume:

2008: Strength & Conditioning Coach, Stanford

2009-10: Defensive Assistant, Stanford

2011-13: Defensive Assistant/Quality Control Coach, San Francisco 49ers

2014-19: Inside Linebackers Coach, Stanford

2020-21: Defensive Coordinator/Inside Linebackers Coach, UNLV

2022: Linebackers Coach, Denver Broncos
