Former Panthers WR Shi Smith Has a New Home in the NFL

In this story:
Shi Smith was a sixth-round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2021 but after just two seasons with the organization, he was let go at the end of the preseason in August.
Smith appeared in 23 games with Carolina and registered six starts. During his time in the Queen City, Smith hauled in 28 receptions for 400 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His speed always gave him a chance but inconsistency catching the ball held him back as he reeled in just 53.8% of balls thrown in his direction.
After not being on an NFL roster since the start of the season, Smith is finally getting his second chance. According to multiple reports, Smith has signed to the Tennessee Titans' practice squad.
