Patriots BREAKING vs. Packers Live: Game Ends, Isaiah Bolden Carted Off Field; Damar Hamlin-Like Scare

The New England Patriots are at Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers in their second preseason game.

The New England Patriots' second preseason game leads them to historic Lambeau Field, where they'll face the Green Bay Packers. 

The two teams participated in joint practices on Wednesday and Thursday, which may influence how much the starters play if they do see the field at all. 

If New England's starting offense does play, it'd be a chance to see what quarterback Mac Jones looks like for the first time in offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien's offense. Malik Cunningham also figures to play a bigger role on Saturday after an electric debut against the Houston Texans. 

New England's defense will have a chance to play against Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who is entering his first year as the starter after Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets in the offseason.

1st Quarter:

New England won the toss and deferred to the second half. The Packers will get the ball to start the game. 

Chad Ryland's kick goes through the end zone for a touchback to start the game. Aaron Jones runs for six yards on first down. AJ Dillon gets the handoff carry and gains five yards to move the chains.  

Dillon gets another carry and gets five yards. Jordan Love keeps it on a play-action pass and his pass is incomplete. An ineligible man downfield on Green Bay is declined, making it third and five. A bad snap goes over Love's head and it's recovered by Josh Uche for the Patriots at Green Bay's 18-yard-line.

A false start on Trent Brown moves New England back five yards before they even run a play. Mac Jones' pass to Kendrick Bourne is complete for four yards. Jones finds Bourne again, this time for 13 yards to Green Bay's six-yard-line.

Rhamondre Stevenson loses a yard on the carry. Jones drops back to pass then scrambles for four yards. On third and goal from the three-yard-line, Jones' pass intended for DeVante Parker is incomplete, but defensive holding on Carrington Valentine extends the drive. 

Stevenson punches it in from a yard out for a touchdown. Nick Folk's extra point is good with 10:19 left in the first quarter.

Patriots 7, Packers 0

Folk's kick goes through the end zone for a touchback.

Love's pass to Luke Musgrave gets 10 yards for a first down. 

Dillon runs for three yards on first down. Love rolls left after play-action and looks for Musgrave again but the pass is broken up. Love finds Romeo Doubs for 10 yards on third down to extend the drive.

Dillon gets another carry and gains three yards, moving past midfield. Love's pass is complete to Musgrave but only gains two yards as he's pushed out of bounds by Adrian Phillips. On third and four, Love's pass intended for Jayden Reed is broken up.

Green Bay tries to get the Patriots to jump offsides, but they don't bite. The Packers take a delay of game penalty and move back five yards. 

Pat O'Donnell's punt is downed at New England's 16-yard-line, but holding moves the Patriots back half the distance to the goal with 6:50 left in the quarter.

Stevenson runs for four yards on first down. Stevenson gets another handoff and breaks a big gain for 23 yards to the Patriots' 35-yard-line.

Jones' pass intended for an open Hunter Henry is overthrown and lands incomplete. Jones pitches it to Juju Smith-Schuster and he only gets a yard. Jones is sacked by Kingsley Enagbare on third and long for a loss of nine yards.

Samori Toure has a good punt return negated by a holding call. The Packers will begin the drive at their seven-yard-line.

A false start moves Green Bay back three yards. Dillon runs for four yards on first down. Love's deep pass intended for Doubs is incomplete as he lands out of bounds before getting both feet down. Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur is challenging the call with 3:07 left in the first quarter. The challenge is successful. The pass gains 42 yards to midfield. 

Love is under pressure and escapes, running for 11 yards and he's hit as he slides, leading to a skirmish on the field. New England's Sam Roberts is flagged for unnecessary roughness.

Green Bay has the ball at New England's 24-yard-line. Dillon runs for five yards on first down. After play-action Love throws a dart and finds Reed who runs it into the end zone for a touchdown. 

Unsportsmanlike conduct on Green Bay will move the kickoff back 15 yards. Anders Carlson's extra point is good with 1:42 left in the first quarter.

Patriots 7, Packers 7

Isaiah Bolden returns the kickoff to New England's 39-yard-line.

Jones goes deep for Parker but it's incomplete. Kevin Harris gets the carry and he's stopped for no gain. On third and 10, Jones' pass to Demario Douglas is complete for 15 yards and a first down at Green Bay's 46-yard-line. 

Jones throws a screen to Douglas and he gets three yards on the final play of the quarter.

Second quarter:

On second and eight from Green Bay's 44-yard-line, Jones' pass is batted down by Jonathan Owens. Jones is hit as he throws and Bourne makes a leaping grab for a 17-yard gain.

Enagbare strip sacks Jones and then recovers it for a turnover.

Green Bay begins the drive at its 38-yard-line and quarterback Sean Clifford is in the game. Clifford's pass to Emanuel Wilson gets 11 yards. 

Wilson gets the handoff and gains nine yards to New England's 42-yard-line. Wilson gets another handoff and runs for four yards and a first down. 

Wilson breaks another big gain for 14 yards to the Patriots' 24-yard-line.

Wilson is finally slowed down, only gaining a yard. Clifford's pass to Malik Heath is complete for 10 yards to New England's 13-yard-line. 

Patrick Taylor is stopped for no gain. Clifford's pass to Musgrave is incomplete but illegal hands to the face gives Green Bay first and goal at New England's eight-yard-line. 

Taylor goes around the edge for an eight-yard touchdown. 

The extra point is moved back five yards after a delay of game. Carlson's extra point is good with 9:46 left in the half.

Packers 14, Patriots 7

Carlson's kickoff goes through the end zone for a touchback.

Bailey Zappe is in for New England. Harris is stopped for no gain. Zappe's pass intended for Tre Nixon is incomplete. On third and 10, Zappe's rolls right then his pass to Malik Cunningham is also incomplete.

Toure only gets two yards on the return to Green Bay's 17-yard-line.

Wilson gets two yards on first down. Clifford finds Grant DuBose for 21 yards to Green Bay's 40-yard-line.

Wilson gets another handoff and gains seven yards. Wilson gains two yards on second down. On third and one, Clifford dumps it off to Josiah Deguara but he's inches short of a first down. 

On fourth and inches, Taylor gets two yards for a first down. 

Taylor gets another carry and gets two yards again. Wilson gets the handoff and loses a yard. On third and nine, Clifford's pass is complete to Wilson but only gains four yards to New England's 44-yard-line, making it fourth and five.

O'Donnell's punt is caught at the Patriots' 15-yard-line by Jabrill Peppers, where he calls for a fair catch with 3:03 left in the half.

Zappe's pass to Harris gets eight yards. Harris runs for six yards and a first down. The game has reached the two-minute warning. 

On first and 10 from the Patriots' 30-yard-line, Zappe is under pressure but his pass is complete to J.J. Taylor gets eight yards. Zappe gets sacked, but illegal contact on Green Bay gives New England a first down.

Back-to-back passes by Zappe are incomplete. On third and 10, Zappe goes deep and finds nothing but grass. Defensive pass interference gives New England a first down at the Packers' 42-yard-line. 

Zappe goes deep for Nixon in triple coverage and the pass is broken up. Nixon is injured and being attended to by trainers. New England is forced to call its first timeout with 1:02 left in the half. Nixon is up and walks off the field under his own power. 

On second and 10, Zappe finds Kayshon Boutte on a slant and he scampers through the defense for a 42-yard touchdown.

The extra point by Ryland is good with 56 seconds left in the half.

Holding negates a good return by Green Bay. They'll start the drive at their nine-yard-line.

Clifford's pass to DuBose is incomplete. Clifford goes deep and the pass is tipped to Brad Hawkins for an interception. The pick is negated by defensive pass interference on Christian Gonzalez.

Green Bay has the ball at its 32-yard line. Clifford's pass to Duece Watts is complete for nine yards. The Packers call their first timeout with 32 seconds left in the half. Clifford is forced to scramble and gets two yards for a first down before running out of bounds. 

Clifford's pass to Heath gains 18 yards to New England's 39-yard-line. 

Clifford is under pressure and his pass falls incomplete. Clifford finds Taylor for five yards and he gets out of bounds with 11 seconds left. Clifford's pass intended for Taylor is incomplete to make it fourth down.

Carlson comes out to attempt a 52-yard field goal and it's good with one second left in the first half.

Zappe takes a knee and that's the half.

Halftime

Third Quarter:

New England will receive to start the second half. An illegal block in the back pushes them back to the nine-yard line. 

Harris runs for four yards on first down. Zappe's pass to Boutte is complete in traffic for seven yards and a first down. 

Harris gets the carry and gains three yards. Zappe's pass intended for Cunningham is incomplete. On third and seven, Zappe looks for Cunningham again and it's incomplete, but Valentine is flagged for defensive pass interference at the 37-yard line. 

Zappe finds Anthony Firkser for six yards. Harris breaks a big run for 15 yards to the Packers' 42-yard-line. 

Zappe's pass to Raleigh Webb falls incomplete. Zappe looks for Cunningham on a screen and the pass is deflected. On third and 10, Zappe is hit as he throws and the pass falls incomplete. 

Webb downs the punt at Green Bay's 10-yard-line with 11:24 left in the quarter.

Wilson gains eight yards on first down. Clifford finds Heath for 15 yards and a first down. 

Wilson is stopped for no gain. Wilson gets another handoff and he only gets two yards. On third and eight, Clifford goes deep for Toure but the pass is broken up. 

Taylor calls for a fair catch at New England's 22-yard-line. Holding on the Patriots will move them back to the 12-yard line.

Encroachment on Green Bay makes it first and five. Zappe's pass intended for Thyrick Pitts gets broken up. Zappe looks for Cunningham again and the pass is incomplete. Zappe finds Pitts for 13 yards on third down for a first down. 

Harris gains five yards on the ground. Harris gets another handoff and gets four yards. On third and one, Harris gets three yards to move the chains. 

Taylor runs for one yard. Zappe throws a screen to Taylor and he goes for 14 yards to the Packers' 43-yard-line. 

Zappe goes deep to Cunningham and it's incomplete. Zappe finds Firkser for seven yards, making it third and three. Zappe's pass to Webb is complete for six yards and moves the chains again. 

Taylor gains nine yards on the ground. Harris makes defenders miss on a seven-yard run to the 14-yard line for another first down. 

Harris is stopped for a loss of a yard. Taylor gets the ball on a screen and he gains six yards. On third and six, Taylor runs for four yards and is stopped short of a first down at the six-yard line. 

New England calls a timeout with three seconds left in the third quarter. 

On fourth and two, Zappe rolls right to evade pressure and he strolls into the end zone for a touchdown. 

The extra point by Folk is good to cap off the 17-play drive.

Fourth Quarter:

Toure returns the kick to Green Bay's 23-yard-line.

Wilson runs for three yards on first down. Clifford's pass to DuBose gains six yards before he runs out of bounds. On third and one, Wilson gets four yards to extend the drive. Packers offensive lineman Jake Hanson is down on the field. He walks off the field under his own power. 

After play-action, Clifford's pass to Heath is complete fin traffic for 25 yards to the Patriots' 40-yard-line. 

Clifford goes with play action again but his pass sails high. Willson breaks through tackles and runs for seven yards. On third and three, Clifford's pass is completed to Cody Chrest for six yards and a first down. 

Wilson gains three yards on the ground. Clifford is under pressure and he's forced to throw it away. On third and seven, Clifford's pass to Heath gains eight yards for a first down at the Patriots' 18-yard-line. A New England player is down on the field. Isaiah Bolden is the injured player and now he's being put on a stretcher.

This has an eerie "Damar Hamlin" feel to it. Now Bolden is being taken off the field on a cart.

After a long discussion, Bill Belichick and Matt LaFleur have agreed to suspend the game after Bolden's injury. The referee makes the official announcement. With 10:38 remaining in the fourth quarter, the game is over.

The Pats released a statement saying Bolden has movement in all his extremities but is being taken to a hospital for further observation.
