Detailing Benjamin Watson's Contract with Patriots

Veteran tight end Benjamin Watson re-signed with the New England Patriots earlier this week after being released by the organization last week. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero detailed Watson's new contract with New England on Thursday.
According to Pelissero, Watson's new, prorated deal is for one-year, with $800,000 guaranteed. He can also earn an additional $140,000 in incentives. Watson earned about $686,000 from his previous deal with New England.

As Mike Reiss of ESPN noted, Watson's base salary is $1.2 million.
Contract note: TE Benjamin Watson re-signed to a one-year deal with a base salary of $1.236 million, of which $800k is guaranteed. There is also a chance for Watson to earn $200k in playing time incentives. The $800k guarantee provides Watson some assurance he is in team's plans.

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe shared this info as well, adding that Watson's cap number is $940,000.
Ben Watson’s new deal with the Patriots pays him $800k for the rest of the season. But this time it’s fully guaranteed, so the Pats probably won’t be cutting him again this season.

Also $140k in incentives. Cap number of $940k. Plus a $600k signing bonus from the last contract
Back in May Watson had signed his original one-year, $3 million deal with the Patriots. Re-signing with New England this week allowed the team to save some money in the process.
