Julian Edelman, Chase Winovich play Fortnite together quite a bit

Matt Schoch of The Detroit News talked to New England Patriots rookie defensive end, Chase Winovich on Tuesday during the team's joint practice with the Detroit Lions. They spoke about Winovich's time so far in New England, and if he has been impacted by any rookie traditions that take place in the Patriots' locker room.

Also interviewed was Chase's father, Peter, who said that despite the latest antics from Julian Edelman on social media, the amount of hazing that the rookie has gotten from his veteran teammates has been minimal. In fact, Edelman and Chase play Fortnite together nearly every night.

"Not only are players like Edelman not giving Chase Winovich a tough time, Peter Winovich Jr. said, but the reigning Super Bowl MVP plays Fortnite with him almost every night," Schoch wrote

Despite the large age gap between Edelman (33) and Winovich (24), there's seems to be a strong enough connection between the two players for them to play video games together frequently.
