Raiders Will Sign Tight End Bryant

The Las Vegas Raider's quest to find additional players has led General Manager Tom Telesco to come to terms with tight end Harrison Bryant.

The Las Vegas Raiders added another offensive weapon on Wednesday, coming to terms with Harrison Bryant.

Tight end Austin Hooper left in free agency, and Bryant will get the opportunity to compete for playing time in a new Raiders offense that needs tight ends who can block and catch, and he can do both.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN: "Former Browns TE Harrison Bryant reached agreement with the Raiders on a 1-year, $3.25 million deal with a max value of $4 million, per source."

Bryant will play behind starter Michael Mayer ans compete with Cole Fotheringham, who currently plays on the Raiders Reserve/Future roster and has many fans inside the Silver and Black headquarters.

Bryant's stats for 2023 included playing in all 17 games and starting nine, and he made 13 reeptions for 81 yards and three touchdowns.

Las Vegas Raiders General Manager Tom Telesco told us what he thinks of the Silver and Black roster.

"I think the one thing that jumped off kind of doing a deeper dive is how tough a football team it was, and I would say that on offense, defense and the kicking game," Telesco said. "But tough, resilient and really committed to the process. Just watching the whole situation, how the season played out from how it started and then your head coach is no longer there, and then how you finished it with a new head coach. But a really tough-minded, mentally tough football team. So, that's what kind of came out the most."

Bryant certainly fits that bill.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
