Davante Adams on Deion Sanders' Success at Colorado

Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams gives high praise to Deion Sanders' success at the University of Colorado

Much attention has been given to the University of Colorado's football program and Coach Deion Sanders, as he has changed the entire football program and atmosphere in Boulder, Colo.

Before the college football season kicked off, many people thought Sanders did not have what it took to change an entire football program. However, the Buffalos are 3-0 and are ranked 19th in the NCAA football top 25 and are also second in the Pacific-12 Conference standings.

Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams had the chance to speak to the media before the Raiders play the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday night, on Deion Sanders' successes at Colorado.

"Look man, I'm all for it. I love it, I love to see it," Adams said. "I love the untraditional approach. It's a weird dynamic, and I've thought about this for a minute just because he's a real old school type cat, but he's bringing like a crazy clash of like new school and old school together -- putting Instagram handles on their jerseys. Clearly, I mean, you see the way that he commands his team, and you see the way that they are out there, it's like a show. So, I mean, I know I enjoy watching it, I'm not missing it, I don't care what's on TV. If the Colorado Buffaloes are playing right now, I want to see [Lil] Wayne and Lil Uzi on the sideline and whoever else is next, too. It's fun and I like to see it a little different. If you can bring it, at the end of the day winning is going to take care of everything. So, if they keep doing that they can be as flashy and as cool as they want to, showing off the AP's and all that. I love it."

This Sunday will be Adams's fourth time in his career that he gets to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has 13 catches for 161 yards and one touchdown in three career games against the Steelers.

The Silver and Black return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8:20 p.m. EDT/5:20 p.m. PDT.
