Raiders Make New Hires, Promotions to Executive Team

The Las Vegas Raiders have made four changes to their executive leadership team.

The Las Vegas Raiders announced two hires and two promotions to their executive leadership team in a Thursday press release.

These positions will work with Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan to help dictate the future of one of the NFL's oldest franchises.

“To deliver wins off the field, there needs to be extraordinary talent leading our institution and a culture of collaboration and accountability at all levels," Morgan said, per the press release. "That starts with a world-class leadership team that is both committed to our mission and reflects our fan base and communities touched by our organization. I look forward to working with this dynamic group of leaders as we meet the high standard of excellence that the Raiders, our partners, and our community expect.”

Here are the following moves:

Kristen Banks

Banks will serve as the Raiders' senior vice president of marketing. 

She has prior experience as vice president, digital products at the Ultimate Fighting Championship and manager, consumer brand marketing at Universal Orlando Resort.

Heather DeSanto

DeSanto has been promoted to the Raiders' senior vice president of human resources position.

An expert of human resources for 25-plus years, DeSanto has previously served as vice president of human resources for The Venetian and vice president of human resources at Marina Bay Sands.

Mike Newquist

Newquist has been named the Raiders' senior vice president, chief operating officer.

He has 30 years of leadership experience including roles such as president, Touring Shows Division at Cirque Du Soleil Entertainment Group and senior vice president, event development at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Endeavor.

Piper Overstreet-White

Overstreet-White has been promoted to senior vice president of government and community relations.

She previously was partner and president of government affairs at the Griffin Company.

Overstreet-White is familiar with the Las Vegas area, having earned a master's degree in public administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
