The Las Vegas Raiders community was dealt some saddening news when tight end Foster Moreau announced last month that he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The four-year Raider is stepping away from the game of football at this time and is directing his focus toward his health and this new chapter of his life.

Moreau gave a positive update when he discussed the diagnosis in an exclusive interview with Michael Strahan for "Good Morning America."

"It's at stage 2, so it's spread from the initial location.," Moreau said. "But it appears to be a slow spread, and we should be able to get rid of all of it."

For now, Moreau is facing the hurdle with a determined mindset.

"There's no other way to look at it, right?" Moreau said. "So I'm preparing for my opponent, right? Hodgkin's Lymphoma, chemotherapy, I'm preparing for being on an IV, for six, seven, eight hours. Whatever it takes, right? Because I mean, there's no other option. There's no option.

"You only have a finite amount of time on this Earth. For me, I'm gonna make it count. And right now, making it count is whuppin' up on cancer's butt."

Moreau was drafted by the Raiders in the fourth round (No. 137 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft out of LSU and played 61 games for the Silver and Black.
