Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow's Pro Bowl season has not aged well.

Following his stellar 2021 campaign, Renfrow's 2022 season was plagued by injuries, and with star wide receiver Davante Adams joining the club, he was no longer the go-to receiver.

Now, through two games of the 2023 season, Renfrow has only one reception on one target. This is the same receiver who attained the third-most receptions in a season in franchise history with 103 only two seasons ago.

By no means is Renfrow's start to his 2023 campaign his fault. Even Raiders Coach Josh McDaniels said in his press conference on Monday that the fifth-year Raider has done what has been asked of him.

"I mean I would say I'm disappointed just in our overall ability to be more productive than what we've been," McDaniels said. "And Hunter, again -- Hunter's done his job the right way, and a lot of times, the passing game, as you know, is a function of us doing the right thing, and also, the defense gets a vote. You know what I mean? So, depending on the coverages they choose to play, it might open up some other things, or it might give us an opportunity to throw to a person like Hunter or the tight ends, whatever, throwing the ball inside.

"So, there's been some missed opportunities on our part, but I don't think that's a function of Hunter. So, we've got to do a lot of things better. He should have gotten the ball more than he did yesterday. I think there weres more opportunities than that, but protection has to be good, reading the coverage has to be good, blitz pickup, there are a lot of things that will happen before any receiver or tight end will get the football.

"So, much to improve upon. But I'm not concerned about Hunter."

The Silver and Black return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8:20 p.m. EDT/5:20 p.m. PDT.
