The Las Vegas Raiders and the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, have one of the most intense and historic rivalries in all of sports.

While the Raiders have only won two of the last 17 meetings with the division rivals and one of the last 11, the showdown is always a must-watch.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been a part of a number of those Kansas City wins, as the two-time Super Bowl champion has a 17-3 record against the Raiders.

Neither team likes the other, but amidst all the disdain, Kelce has respect for his division opponent over in Sin City.

"I love Raiders fans, man," Kelce said on the FanDuel TV show, "Run it Back," on Wednesday. "Every time I see you guys, we have a great time, man. I have a tremendous respect for not only the Raiders and the guys that I played that are on the Raiders, but I'll tell you what, the fan base, you guys don't hold back. Man, I love every bit of the 'boos' and the 'you sucks' during the game. That makes football and the environment that much more fun to play in, man, so nothing but love and respect for the Raiders, man. But you know it's a war every time we play."

Kelce had a dominant scoring performance when the Raiders came to Kansas City for a Monday night showdown last season. The eight-time Pro Bowler totaled four touchdowns on only seven receptions.

Las Vegas went on to lose that game by just a single point, giving them a tough 1-4 start to the 2022 campaign.

The Raiders and Chiefs will meet in Week 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this upcoming season, with their second match-up coming on Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Perhaps Las Vegas can make sure Kelce's time isn't so great when they face the All-Pro tight end in these next two meetings.

The Raiders' offseason workout schedule is as follows:

OTA Offseason workouts: May 22-23, May 25, May 31-June 2, June 12-15

Mandatory Minicamp: June 6-8
