Maxx Crosby Gets His Best Madden Rating Yet

This year keeps getting better for Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby.

Following a career season in his fifth year in the league, the Pro Bowl defensive end was granted a 94 overall rating in the upcoming video game Madden NFL 24, as Electronic Arts (EA) revealed the ratings for all edge rushers and defensive linemen on Tuesday.

Crosby's launch ratings include an 84 for speed, an 88 for acceleration, an 83 for strength, an 84 for agility, a 98 for awareness, a 91 for tackle, an 85 for jumping, a 94 for injury, a 90 for stamina, an 86 for toughness, an 83 for impact blocking, an 86 for power moves, a 96 for finesse moves, a 95 for pursuit, a 95 for play recognition, and an 80 for hit power.

He is tied for fourth among all edge rushers in the game.

The top 10 is as follows:

Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers: 98 Overall

Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns: 98 Overall

Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys: 97 Overall

T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers: 94 Overall

Von Miller, Buffalo Bills: 94 Overall

Crosby: 94 Overall

Joey Bosa, Los Angeles Chargers: 91 Overall

Haason Reddick, Philadelphia Eagles: 90 Overall

DeMarcus Lawrence, Dallas Cowboys: 90 Overall

Matthew Judon, New England Patriots: 89 Overall

Crosby was just an 87 overall in Madden 23.

Meanwhile, Raiders edge rusher Chandler Jones dropped from a 90 overall in last year's game to an 82 overall.

Crosby comes off a 2022 campaign in which he led the league in tackles for losses (22), while having posted career-bests in sacks (12.5), combined tackles (89), and quarterback hits (36) as well. He also added four passes defensed and three forced fumbles.

The Madden 24 rating reveals will continue Wednesday with the release of running backs and offensive linemen, followed by cornerbacks and tight ends on Thursday, quarterbacks and linebackers on Friday, and punters, kickers, and fullbacks on Saturday.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
