The Las Vegas Raiders made a great addition to their secondary this offseason when they signed free-agent safety Marcus Epps.

The former Philadelphia Eagle comes off a trip to the Super Bowl as a full-time starter on an NFC title team, while also having produced the best season of his career.

On Friday's edition of "Good Morning Football," the panelists drafted their all-underrated defense, ultimately selecting an eight-man group.

With the final pick, former NFL defensive tackle Malik Jackson picked Epps, who also happened to be his former teammate.

"Secondary guy, safety," Jackson said. "Went to Wyoming. A true in-the-box free safety that's going to come down, hit you hard, let you know he's there. He's going to cover you, clear pass breakups and everything. I played with him when we were in Philadelphia. Just a great guy. Good kid, good character. Marcus Epps is out here doing his thing."

The draft results are as follow:

1. Brian Burns, DE

2. Lavonte David, LB

3. Javon Hargrave, DT

4. Romeo Okwara, DE

5. Demario Davis, LB

6. Dorance Armstrong, DE

7. Tyson Campbell, CB

8. Marcus Epps, DB

Epps recorded 94 combined tackles, four for losses, a forced fumble, and six passes defensed last season.

In Philadelphia's postseason run, the veteran safety posted 13 combined tackles, including six in the Super Bowl.

Epps has registered a total of 209 tackles, four for losses, 15 passes defensed, three interceptions and one forced fumble in his four seasons in the NFL.

His career began with the Minnesota Vikings, who selected him in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played only eight games for Minnesota before being waived that November.

Epps then signed with the Eagles, with whom he would remained with the rest of the season as well as the following three seasons.

The Raiders signed Epps in March.
