The Las Vegas Raiders added another 2019 NFL Draft class member this offseason, David Long Jr.

While Long does not have the Pro Bowl status his fellow draft class teammates Josh Jacobs and Maxx Crosby have, he does have something they are both in the hunt for a Super Bowl title.

Long was a member of the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl LVI title team two years ago.

Drafted by Los Angeles in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Long would spend the first five years of his NFL career as a Ram, ultimately experiencing six postseason games.

His first taste of the playoffs came in 2020-21 when Los Angeles faced the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round.

Long did not see the field on defense but paid his dues with 18 special teams snaps.

The next week against the Green Bay Packers, he participated in two plays on defense as the Rams fell 32-18.

Long would return with his best season yet, posting 40 combined tackles, four passes defensed, and an interception in 16 games, making five starts.

Long contributed to Los Angeles' 34 points with a pick-six in the Rams' Wild Card victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

The following week, the cornerback recorded seven solo tackles, including a tackle for a loss, in Los Angeles' victory over the defending champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Long did not see as much action in the NFC Championship Game, when the Rams bested the San Francisco 49ers, but he would get the start for the biggest game of his life two weeks later.

He made four combined tackles in Super Bowl LVI, as the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals to win their fourth title in franchise history.

The Las Vegas Raiders open training camp for the entire team on July 25, 2023.

The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
