On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders cut long snapper, Trent Sieg,

Sieg was a member of the Silver and Black for five seasons, having appeared in all but two games during that time. He totaled five tackles as a Raider.

Sieg was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State. Baltimore would release him before being picked up by the Raiders a few weeks later.

Sieg signed a three-year extension with Silver and Black in 2021.

The release comes only two days after the club signed long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer, a former member of the Denver Broncos.

Bobenmoyer was with Denver for three seasons, having played 46 games. He registered 11 tackles and a fumble recovery in those three seasons.

The young long snapper entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2020 as a product of Northern Colorado.

Bobenmoyer was named fourth-team All-American by Phil Steele Publications his senior year.

The 2023 NFL Draft will go from April 27-29 and be held at Union Station in Kansas City, Mo. The 2023 NFL Year and Free Agency period began at 4 p.m. EDT on March 15

The Raiders are expected to be significant players in the free-agent market this season.
