Raiders NFL Draft Prospect: Center Frazier of West Virgina

The Las Vegas Raiders need additions on their interior offensive line this offseason, and there's a lot of talent in that area available in the 2024 NFL Draft.

A potential early Day 2 pickup is center Zach Frazier of West Virginia, who was one of the best Big 12 offensive lineman for last three college seasons.

Frazier comes off a 2023 season in which he was named to the All-Big 12 First Team for a second straight season, and also was named to the Associated Press' All-American Third Team.

Frazier played 12 games for the Mountaineers last season, helping lead them to a 9-4 record, their best since the 2016 season. West Virginia finished the 2023 season with the fourth-best rushing offense in the nation at 228.9 rushing yards per game, and 27th in total offense at 434.6 yards per game.

Pro Football Focus gave Frazier an overall grade of 74.5, a run-blocking grade of 73.2, and a pass-blocking grade of 77.9 for the 2023 season.

The season before, Frazier started 12 games at center, allowing only one sack, as he went 11 games without missing an assignment. PFF gave Frazier an overall grade of 80.8 for the 2022 season.

Frazier started all 13 games at center in the 2021 season and would be named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, as well as the American Football Coaches Association and Walter Camp All-American Second Team.

In his first season with the Mountaineers, Frazier made nine starts at left guard. He was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention, as well as to the ESPN True Freshman All-American First Team.

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
