In this story:

While the Las Vegas Raiders have dropped their last two games, a victory on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers would give them a lot of leverage in the race for the AFC West title, as they would be 2-0 in division play.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs have an opportunity to give themselves an advantage as well, as a win for them over the New York Jets on Sunday night would put them at a 3-1 start to the season.

Then, there are the Denver Broncos, who search for their first victory of the season, as well as the first win of the Coach Sean Payton era in Denver.

Here's what to look for from all these games this weekend:

Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers

This divisional match-up will be a big one for both parties.

The Raiders, who have lost their last two games, will be looking to get back to .500 before their slow start begins to get too out of hand.

The Chargers, meanwhile, come off their first win of the season and will be looking to get themselves to .500 as well with what would be a very important victory over an AFC West rival.

Los Angeles is second-to-last in the NFL in opposing yards allowed at 450.7 per game. At the same time, the Chargers are second in the league in offensive yards per game at 416.7, a factor that might be alarming to Raiders fans after their team allowed 333.0 yards at home last week against a Pittsburgh Steelers team that had averaged 247.0 yards between in its first two games.

Kansas City Chiefs at New York Jets

The Chiefs are gearing up for their second prime-time game of the season as they head to New York to take on the Jets.

New York has dropped its last two games since overcoming the season-ending injury to quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Week 1, and now, it has the lowest average offensive yards per game in the league at 225.0.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, are riding a two-game winning streak and seem to have found their groove since losing to the Detroit Lions in Week 1.

A Kansas City team that ranks top-10 in both offense and defense should not have any problems with a Jets team that is looking to get back on its feet.

Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears

It's the battle of two winless teams as both Denver and Chicago look to finally get in the win column in this early stage of the NFL season.

After allowing 70 points against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, the Broncos will have some relief to bounce back against a Bears team that is allowing over 35 points per game.

The problem for Denver is that it is doing the same.

The Silver and Black return to the road this week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
