The Las Vegas Raiders' relationship with All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams is always a topic of conversation.

The Raiders have had their ups and downs since Adams joined the team. They've had multiple head coaches, offensive coordinators, and quarterbacks, all in the short amount of time Adams has been with the team.

Before joining the Raiders, Adams was in one of the most stable situations in the National Football League. He was with a historically significant franchise, similar to how he is with the Raiders. The on-filed situation, however, was much more consistent during his time with the Green Bay Packers.

While with the Packers, Adams was paired with one of the best quarterbacks of all time, Aaron Rodgers. The two played together for all of Adams' career until he was traded to the Raiders.

With Adams now with the Raiders and Rodgers with the New York Jets, it was reported last offseason that Rodgers tried to recruit Adams to join him with the Jets.

Adams is often listed as a trade option for the Raiders. However, although Rodgers has been trying his best to recruit Adams, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport says the Raiders are not trading their star receiver.

“The Las Vegas Raiders are in win-now mode, not really in the business of giving away players, which is why the fact that, my understanding is that Aaron Rodgers has been trying to recruit Davante Adams to the Jets," Rapoport said.

The Raiders enter next season with an offensive coordinator who is familiar with Adams and knows how to best get him involved in the offense.

Las Vegas also plans to add another quarterback and likely upgrade its offensive line.

"Remember, the Jets kind of made a run at him this past year and there was nothing there," Rapoport said. "They are expected to try again this offseason. From what I am told, the Raiders want to win, believe they can, and have zero plans to trade Davante Adams.”

Time will tell what ends up happening with the Raiders' offense. As of now, though, Las Vegas has no plans of trading arguably their top offensive weapon.
