The Las Vegas Raiders are switching gears after their 17-16 win over the Denver Broncos and have the Buffalo Bills as their main focus this week as the prepare to play them on Sunday.

This will be the 40th all-time match-up between these franchises and the Raiders lead the all-time series, 21-19, over the Bills and look to extend their edge with a win over the Bills.

The last time these teams played each other was during the 2020 NFL regular season, which was the Raiders inaugural year in Las Vegas. The Bills traveled from Orchard Park, N.Y., to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Raiders.

Buffalo won that game, 30-23, over the Raiders and the game overall was an exciting one. Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 24-of-34 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the game with a QB rating of 115.8.

Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs played really well against the Raiders. Diggs was targeted seven times and finished the game with six receptions for 115 yards. Wide receivers like Gabe Davis and Cole Beasley were the two wide receivers who scored against the Raiders in 2020.

Former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was also a noted player during the last time the Bills and Raiders faced against each other. Carr ended the game completing 32-of-44 passes for 311 yards and two touchdowns.

This time around, the Raiders get to play on the Bills' home turf. The Raiders have not played in Orchard Park since the 2017 NFL season. The Bills dominated that entire game and beat the Raiders, 34-14.

With a win over the Bills, the Raiders will extend their all-time series lead to 22-19.

The Silver and Black remain on the road next week as they travel to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
