Raiders Face Familiar Faces This Sunday Against Bears

The Las Vegas Raiders are continuing to prepare for their Week 7 game against the Chicago Bears.

The Silver and Black will play against many familiar faces this Sunday in Soldier Field in Chicago.

Starting with Bears defensive tackle Andrew Billings, who spent one season with the Silver and Black in 2022, when he had 39 tackles, 18 of them solos. He also had 1.0 sack in 16 games with the Silver and Black.

The Raiders also will face Bears safety Duron Harmon, who was also with the Silver and Black in 2022, when he finished with 86 tackles, 63 of them being solos, and two forced fumbles in 17 games.

Bears defensive end Yannick Ngakoue played for the Raiders in 2021, recording 10.0 sacks and 28 tackles while playing in 17 games.

Bears backup quarterback Nathan Peterman spent time with the Raiders from 2019-2021 and saw action in two games.

The Raiders also will be playing against former coaches.

Offensive quality control coach Zach Cable of the Bears spent his first four seasons with the Silver and Black from 2018-2021. He worked with the Raiders offensive line, tight ends and linebackers.

Bears defensive line coach Travis Smith spent 10 years with the Raiders, serving as a defensive assistant from 2012-2014, defensive quality control coach in 2015, 16, 2018-19, outside linebackers coach in 2017, and also was an assistant defensive line coach.

Offensive line coach Chris Morgan of the Bears was with the Raiders during the 2009-10 season. The Raiders' offensive line ranked 10th in yards per game (356.6) and sixth in points per game (25.6)

Lastly, Chicago's assistant quarterbacks and wide receivers coach Omar Young, a former intern, gained scouting experience in the Raiders player personnel department during the 2007-08 seasons.

Watch for these former Raiders this Sunday as the Silver and Black take on the Bears at Soldier Field.

The Silver and Black will head out on the road to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
