3 Things to Watch for as the Raiders Play the Broncos

Las Vegas Raiders take on the Denver Broncos this Sunday, and there are three things to watch for during this divisional Week 1 game.

The excitement builds up as the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Denver Broncos this Sunday.

There are three things to watch and look out for as the Raider plays the Broncos in Empower Field at Mile High.

Starting off, if wide receiver Davante Adams finishes the game with 100-plus receiving yards, Adams will have a total of 40 career 100-plus yard games. This would be the second most in the NFL since he entered the league in 2014. If he gets 100-plus receiving yards this Sunday, his 40th career game would make him one of 13 players in NFL History to reach 40-plus 100-yard games during their first 10 NFL seasons. Adams would also be one of 10 players in NFL History to record 40-plus 100 receiving yards in their first 134 NFL games.

Starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is also a player on the Raiders to watch for against the Broncos. If the Raiders win this Sunday, Garoppolo would have 41 total quarterback wins in games he has started since entering the league in 2014. Garoppolo would have 41 wins in his first 58 starts with a win over the Broncos. He would be tied for the ninth most in NFL history by a player in his first 58 career starts. He would be tied with quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, Dan Marino and Ben Roethlisberger.

Lastly, defensive end Maxx Crosby is a player to watch for as the Raiders take on the Broncos. If Maxx Crosby gets two tackles for  losses this Sunday, he will tie T.J. Watt for the most games with tackles for loss since 2019. He would also become one of nine players in the NFL since the 1999 NFL season to record 18 or more games of two-plus tackles for losses within their first 70 career games.

All these Raiders are on high alert for breaking records at their positions as the Silver and Black take on the Broncos this Sunday.
