There are three Las Vegas Raiders who will go up against their former team in the Detroit Lions this Monday night on Week 8 of the 2022-23 NFL regular season.

We are starting with Raiders coaching assistant/returner Danny Amendola, who played for the Lions in 2019 and 2020. During two seasons with the Lions, he racked up 1,280 yards on 108 receptions and one touchdown in 29 games.

Raiders assistant special teams coach Derius Swinton II also spent time with the Lions. a season on the offensive side of the ball in 2018 as an offensive assistant.

Runninb back Amber Abdullah runs head-to-head with his former team on Monday night. Abdullah was selected 54th overall in the Lions' second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played for the Lions from 2015-18 finishing with 1,251 rushing yards on 327 carries and scored six touchdowns on 35 games.

This Monday night will also feature four Raiders returning to the state of Michigan in where they played college ball.

Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby attended Eastern Michigan from 2015-18. Crosby played 38 games with the Eagles and racked up 162 total tackles, 73 being solos. He also finished his college career with 20 sacks and one interception.

Quarterback Brian Hoyer attended Michigan State from 2004-08. In three seasons with the Spartans, Hoyer threw 485 completions on 873 passes for 5,992 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Raiders cornerback David Long Jr. attended Michigan from 2016-18. Long Jr. played 38 games with the Wolverines, finishing with 38 total tackles, with 22 of them being solos, and three interceptions.

Lastly, Raiders linebacker Robert Spillane attended Western Michigan from 2014-17. Spillane played 47 games with the Broncos, finishing with 312 total tackles, with 156 being solos. He also had 10 sacks and four interceptions at Western Michigan.

Be on the lookout for all these Raiders as they return to Michigan to take on the Detroit Lions on Monday night.
