The Las Vegas Raiders will go head-to-head against a talented Detroit Lions defense on Monday Night Football.

Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson leads the way for the Lions' defense. The second-year player out of the University of Michigan has 22 combined tackles and 4.5 sacks this season.

In his first season with the Lions, Hutchinson finished with 52 combined tackles, 9.5 sacks and three interceptions.

Raiders Coach Josh McDaniels had the opportunity to speak about Hutchinson with the media before the Raiders and Lions go head-to-head on Monday night.

"Yeah, I mean, their styles are a little different," McDaniels said. "And their defense, they play a little bit of a different defensive structure than we do. But obviously practicing against a really talented player on the edge is only helpful in these cases. Again, it seems like every team has one. You hope they don't have two, but whether it was [Khalil] Mack or [Nick] Bosa, we've played a litany of them so far this season. (Hutchinson) plays with an incredible motor, great effort. If you ever stop playing before the play is over, he makes a lot of plays in that regard. He finds the ball and is a very savvy player. He understands when the quarterback sets and is going to get rid of it quick, he times and stops his rush, and jumps to try to get his hands on the ball. So, I just really a lot of respect for the way he's playing and how he's playing so early in his career."

This will be the first time in Hutchinson's career he will have the chance to go head-to-head against the Raiders and to face perhaps the NFL's best defensive end, Maxx Crosby.

The Raiders look to go 4-4 on Monday, which would be the 43rd time in Raiders history the Silver and Black have had four-plus victories through eight weeks.

The Silver and Black will stay on the road to take on the Detroit Lions on Monday night, Oct. 30, at 8:15 p.m. EDT/5:15 p.m. PDT.
