Looking at Week 8 of Fantasy Football for the Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has continued to be an under-the-radar fantasy football performer this season.

The inconsistency of this year's Las Vegas Raiders team was apparent again on Sunday whey the Raiders lost to the Chicago Bears, 30-12.

The one Raider who continues to be a constant in the offense week after week is wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who has become one of the more consistent wideouts in the league.

Meyers' performances have made him a reliable option for fantasy football managers, who have received a pleasant surprise from a pick they likely took in the late rounds of their drafts or from the waiver wire.

Here's how Meyers and some of the other key Raider contributors performed in Week 7 of fantasy football and what is expected of them on Monday night against the Detroit Lions:

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers

As mentioned above, Meyers has been a dependable asset, not only for the Raiders but for fantasy football participants as well.

Meyers' 50 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Bears on Sunday earned him 18.0 PPR (points per reception) fantasy points and 11.0 non-PPR fantasy points.

ESPN projects Meyers to finish Week 8 with 16.3 PPR points and 9.7 non-PPR points.

Wide receiver Davante Adams

Adams got some targets early Sunday, but the focus to get their best receiver the ball was unable to last for the Raiders.

With his 57 yards on seven receptions, Adams was still able to record 12.7 PPR points and 5.7 non-PPR points in the loss.

Adams is projected by ESPN to total 18.3 PPR points and 11.4 non-PPR points on Monday.

Running back Josh Jacobs

Jacobs had his least impactful game of the season against the Bears. He recorded 35 rushing yards and a six-yard reception, good for only 5.1 PPR points and 4.1 non-PPR points.

ESPN projects Jacobs to score 16.1 PPR points and 11.8 non-PPR points in Week 8.

Kicker Daniel Carlson

Carlson had a rather uncharacteristic game on Sunday in that he missed a field goal from 41 yards. 

He was injured in the pregame, and the Raiders signed a new kicker to the practice squad this week as an insurance policy should that injury linger.

Carlson would go on after the miss to make two field goals, one from 40 yards and one from 25.

That earned the All-Pro kicker 6.0 PPR and non-PPR points.

ESPN projects Carlson to post 6.8 PPR and non-PPR points on Monday.

The Silver and Black will stay on the road to take on the Detroit Lions on Monday night, Oct. 30, at 8:15 p.m. EDT/5:15 p.m. PDT.
