Jermaine Eluemunor Can Establish Consistency for Raiders' OL

In this story:
The Las Vegas Raiders are looking for consistency along the offensive line, as having a unit that plays together cohesively is crucial to the stability of an offense.
The team brought back a few key contributors from last season, including the two offensive linemen who played the most snaps on the right side, guard Alex Bars, and tackle Jermaine Eluemunor.
The Raiders' offensive line grouping of Kolton Miller, Dylan Parham, Andre James, Bars, and Eluemunor was the most frequently used lineup last season, and all five of those players return this season, looking to establish another year of consistency.
Running back Josh Jacobs had probably the best season of his young career behind this offensive line last season, and he will get another chance to do so this season.
Today, let’s look at Eluemunor and evaluate how important his good play can be for this Raiders offense.
Eluemunor joined the Raiders during the 2021 season but did not play much as Brandon Parker held down the right tackle position that season. When Parker was injured last season, Eluemunor played well for him. He played 940 snaps, allowing three sacks, three quarterback hits, and 26 total pressures.
Eluemunor also showed some versatility on the offensive line, mostly at right tackle but also playing right guard and left tackle when called upon. He proved himself as an efficient run and pass blocker, at one point in the season going 11 games without allowing a sack.
As Eluemunor goes into the 2023 season as the presumptive starter at right tackle, he has a chance to establish consistent play for himself and the entire offensive line. The AFC West is loaded with top-tier pass rushers and defensive linemen, so if Eluemunor continues his play from last season, he can ward those players off and keep them away from his quarterback.
The Raiders could have a chance to elevate their offense with the established consistency of Jermaine Eluemunor and the entire offensive line if those players can take a step forward together.
Eluemunor has had a terrific offseason and is ready to show Raiders Nation in 2023 that the faith shown in him by Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels is not wasted.
The Raiders' offseason workout schedule is as follows:
OTA Offseason workouts: May 22-23, May 25, May 31-June 2, June 12-15
Mandatory Minicamp: June 6-8
