The Las Vegas Raiders made a big-time move on the final day before their training camp began.

The agreement follows his visit with the club on Monday, a workout that Rapoport reports was "impressive."

Peters is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time AP All-Pro First Team honoree. He enters his ninth season in the NFL, having previously played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens.
Peters has been a leader in the league in interceptions returned for touchdowns in three seasons, including his rookie campaign with Kansas City, when he also led the NFL in passes defensed (26), interceptions (eight) and yards returned on interceptions (280).
He would receive the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award that season.
Peters played for the Chiefs for three seasons, and again led the league in yards returned on interceptions (137) in his final season with the team.
He was traded to Los Angeles in March of 2018, where he resided for one season and for part of the 2019 season before he was traded to the Baltimore that October.
At the end of that season, Peters led the league in yards returned on interceptions (210) and interceptions returned for touchdowns (three) for the third time in his career.
The veteran played two-plus seasons as a Raven, having registered 99 combined tackles, three for losses, eight interceptions, two touchdowns, 25 passes defensed, four fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and two sacks.
Peters has recorded 346 combined tackles, eight for losses, 32 interceptions, seven touchdowns, 11 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries and two sacks in his career.
Peters' signing will arguably make him the Raiders' most significant offseason addition.
The Las Vegas Raiders open training camp for the entire team on July 25, 2023.
The Silver and Black open the preseason by hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT.
