The Las Vegas Raiders' offense has been out of sorts so far this season, mainly because it has been unable to get the running game going.

Opponents are basing their game plans around stopping running back Josh Jacobs, and so far, they have succeeded.

Las Vegas' offensive line knows that some of Jacobs' struggles are because of their mistakes and have been working to fix them.

"We can get better with little mental errors in the games," tackle Jermaine Eluemenor told Sports Illustrated. "There are some things that we're doing that aren't incredibly helping the offense and helping Josh in the run game. I think that's a big thing."

Through three games, the Raiders are averaging 2.9 yards per carry, second worst in the NFL. It is no secret that the Raiders need Jacobs to get going.

For Eluemenor, communication is key to Las Vegas getting last year's NFL league-leading rusher back on track this season.

"Also, just keep communicating, especially when theres a lot of crowd noise, like there was this past Sunday," Eluemenor said." I'm sure there will be [a lot] of crowd noise this Sunday. So, we just have to keep communicating and over-communicating, that's the biggest thing for an offensive linemen."

Last week, the Raiders were forced to go to a silent count while playing at home. Depending on which team's fans show up more, crowd noise could again impact the communication of the Raiders' offensive line.

The Raiders could have to return to a silent count at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., against the Los Angeles Chargers. Eluemenor shared that he and the Raiders are comfortable using silent counts and are well-equipped to do so when necessary.

"We haven't used cadence since maybe the first preseason game, so when we were at home against the 49ers," Eluemenor said. "We haven't used cadence since then, so I'm actually more comfortable going silent than I am going cadence."

Along with the struggling running game, Las Vegas allowed three sacks last Sunday after not allowing them through its first two games of the season.

Eluemenor and the offensive line are eager to show they're better than what they showed last week.

"Getting out there and getting better," Eluemenor said. "It wasn't the best of games on Sunday. So I'm excited to get another opportunity to go out there and put my best foot forward. As an offensive line, we're all looking forward to the game because we want to go out there and give everything we've got to help this team win."

Sunday in Los Angeles would be an excellent time for the offensive line and Jacobs to put it all together en route to a 2-0 division record.

The Silver and Black return to the road this week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
