In terms of experience reaching the mountain top, veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has it all.

The new Las Vegas Raiders quarterback has been to the Super Bowl with two different franchises, having won two titles as a member of the New England Patriots.

Of course, as a backup to the great Tom Brady, Garoppolo didn't play a down in Super Bowl XLIV or Super Bowl LI.

In fact, of the nine playoff games the Patriots participated in while Garoppolo was there, he took the field in only one, as he played  two snaps against the Indianapolis Colts in the 2014-15 playoffs.

Garoppolo's success, of course, came when he became the franchise quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, who he took to Super Bowl LIV, only a year after winning his second ring.

In that Super Bowl, the veteran threw for 219 yards and a touchdown as the Kansas City Chiefs, went on to win the title, 31-20.

In that playoff run, Garoppolo threw for a total of 427 yards and two touchdowns in the span of three games.

Two years later, he would lead San Francisco on another deep postseason run, this time losing in the NFC Championship Game to the eventual Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams.

Garoppolo recorded a total of 535 passing yards and two touchdowns in that playoff run.

In total, the Raiders quarterback has been to three Super Bowls, three AFC Championship games, and three NFC Championship games.

Garoppolo was unable to participate in San Francisco's postseason last year after suffering a broken-foot injury in a game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13.

Brock Purdy would rise to the occasion and fill in for the injured Garoppolo, leading the 49ers back to the NFC Championship, where they lost to the Eagles.

Regardless of how Garoppolo has performed in the playoffs, he's seen the Promised Land and has led teams a long way.

That's experience any team should want on their roster, and fortunately for the Silver and Black, they now have it.
