CB Nate Hobbs Goes Against Travis Kelce on Sunday

In this story:
The Las Vegas Raiders are continuing preparations for their first AFC West game this season against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
This Sunday's Week 12 divisional meeting between the Chiefs and Raiders offers multiple great head-to-head match-ups.
One of the match-ups on Sunday is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce going against with Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs.
Kelce is ranked fourth in NFL history in receiving yards and receptions by all tight ends. Since the 2020 NFL regular season, the Chiefs' All-Pro tight end has averaged 74 receiving yards and nearly seven catches a game versus the Silver and Black.
This season, Kelce has 64 receptions for 641 yards and five touchdowns. He is coming off a Monday night football performance in which he finished the game with seven receptions for 44 yards and one touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
On the other side, Raiders Hobbs has two takeaways and six pass deflections, which is a team-high. NFL Next Gen Stats has Hobbs as the third-best slot cornerback in the league as of Week 11, despite missing four games.
Hobbs had the opportunity to express his thoughts on Kelce this week to the media ahead of Sunday's game.
"A lot of times when he gets the ball and the pocket breaks down, he's just feeling the defense," Hobbs said. "He's feeling the gaps. He runs to where he feels [quarterback] Patrick Mahomes can get him the ball the best. He has an excellent feel for what the defensive look is. I think he's an intelligent player, too. Combine all that [with] pure athleticism and a super competitive mindset, you're going to get a guy like that."
With a victory on Sunday, the Raiders would improve their record against the Chiefs to 54-70-2 during the regular season and 29-33-1 at home.
Be on the watch for this great match-up between Kelce and Hobbs this Sunday in Allegiant Stadium.
The Silver and Black will return home this week to celebrate Thanksgiving and take on their AFC West rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Sunday, November 26, at 4:25 p.m. EST/1:25 p.m. PST.
