The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to put Week 3 behind them after a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers at Allegiant Stadium.

They will head back on the road to take on their AFC West rival, the Los Angeles Chargers, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. The Chargers picked up their first victory of the season last week in a close game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Raiders and Chargers often have exciting showdowns when they face off each season, and Sunday could be another. Through their first three games of the season, the Chargers have been one of the best offensive teams in football.

They are second in the NFL in total yards per game and seventh in points per game. While they were still an impressive offensive team last season, new Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore has injected even more life into this talented Chargers' offense.

So far this season, Moore has brought a more equal balance to the Chargers’ offense. Last season, the Chargers were second in the league in pass attempts and tied for the fifth-fewest rushing attempts. They passed the ball on nearly 64 percent of their plays, and ran the ball on only 36 percent of them.

This season, the Chargers have thrown the ball on almost 55 percent of their plays and run it on 45 percent of them. Moore has begun to create a more balanced offensive attack in Los Angeles this season.

The Chargers are loaded with talent on offense. It starts with star quarterback Justin Herbert, who is one of the best signal callers in the NFL. They have an elite veteran wide receiver in Keenan Allen, who has 1,146 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games against the Raiders in his career. Allen is coming off of an 18-catch, 215-yard game against the Vikings.

The Chargers often deal with bad luck when it comes to injuries. They unfortunately lost wide receiver Mike Williams for the season because of a torn ACL, and running back Austin Ekeler has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury.

Even without those two players, they still have ample offensive talent. Josh Palmer has developed into one of the most reliable No. 3 wide receivers in the league, while tight end Donald Parham Jr. has become a favorite target for Herbert.

The Chargers have an impressive offensive line that features All-Pro left tackle Rashawn Slater and former seventh-round selection Jamaree Salyer at right guard.

The Raiders’ defense always plays the Chargers tough, but they are going to see a new-look offense this time around with Moore running the show. They need to be prepared for all the different ways Moore, Herbert and this dangerous Chargers squad can beat them, if they want to win another divisional game.

The Silver and Black return to the road next week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
